Slash responds to Dr Pepper (he's apparently a baseball fan)

In a recent interview, British rock pub “MOJO” asked Slash what his feelings were about getting snubbed by Dr Pepper. His reply has left both music fans and baseball aficionados wondering, which left fielder has Dr Pepper replaced?

What do you think about Slash not getting a Dr Pepper?

Given that there's not a cat in hell's chance of the album coming out this year, I think we'll all have to do without Dr Pepper.

This is going to be a genius and timeless record. After Chinese Democracy is released all other bands can just pack it up because nothing better will ever be created. Chinese Democracy will be compared to Mozart’s Ninth symphony, Sgt. Peppers, Highway 61 Revisited, and Johann Sebastian Bachs' work and be considered better. It will be so good; the U.S. will declare the release date a national holiday and China will seriously consider democracy for its people. Axl will be considered a national hero and American politicians will unanimously agree to make a song from Chinese Democracy the new national anthem, China will shortly follow suit. Axl will have direct access to the oval office and convince the president to declare Slash a threat to national security and have him thrown in jail.
Chinese Democracy will also smooth over any past tensions between the U.S. and China. All past indiscretions will be forgotten. Chinese Democracy will usher in a new era of unparalleled prosperity and peace. China will see the error of their ways concerning Tibet and grant them sovereignty. The U.S. and China will fast become the worlds largest trading partners. Axl Rose will be anointed ambassador to China, then the entire eastern hemisphere. Bono will be his assistant. Axl Rose will recieve public pressure to run for the highest office but will publicly state "I can be more effective in my quest for world peace as a rock star. Watch for the third installment of my Chinese Democracy masterpeice entitled Peace in the Middle East". The nations of the middle east immediately take notice. The president of Iran is over heard saying "So many have tried to bring peace, for thousands of years, maybe Axl is the one".

I thought it's just gonna be Slash that will have to deal with only having Coke, as BH is gonna get some of Axl's Dr Pepper. Slash is gonna have to pay for his 23 flavors!

To mack arillo: Fuckin' hilarious dude!

And to the anonymous poster describing C.D. as the End All, Be All:
Bro, pretty funny post but, we all know that the only band capable of achieving ALL of that is....WYLD STALLYNS!!!!

Riddle:

3 men walk into a motel and ask the clerk how much for a night?

The clerk responds $30.

Each man gives the clerk $10 equalling $30 total. The 3 men proceed to their room for the night.

Shortly after, the clerk realizes that a room for the night is only $25. He promptly summons a bell boy and hands him $5 to give back to the 3 men.

On the way to give back the men their change he realizes that he can't figure out how to divide the $5 amongst the 3 men evenly so he keeps $2 and gives back each man $1.

If each man paid $10 and was given $1 back then that means each man paid $9. $9 times 3 equals $27 add the $2 that the bell boy kept equals $29.

Where is the missing $1?

this whole blog is corporate commercialized bullshit.

Who the fuck is honestly gonna say wow this album is like dr. pepper for the ears? I'll tell you who, NO ONE.

Whoever, came up with this site is obviously not gunners fan, just some lame ass advertising agent who thought hey, why don't we force association with a big rock band by making some bullshit claim, thereby earning us a whole legion of fanboys as customers.

well fuck you i'm boycotting Dr. Pepper, just for attaching this crass commercialism to my favorite band

Quoth Anonymous: "Whoever, came up with this site is obviously not gunners fan, just some lame ass advertising agent who thought hey, why don't we force association with a big rock band by making some bullshit claim, thereby earning us a whole legion of fanboys as customers."

Quoth me: *doom chords* No way man, it's totally a secretive legion of Barry Manilow fans trying to force association of Manilow and Axl, based on Manilow having written Dr Pepper's commercial jingle, which nobody actually knows anymore.

Seriously, laugh more, it'll do you good in the long run.

Axl still better step it up, though, before he ends up an ex-chart-topping Vegas act, too.
